NOW OPEN
After a mammoth effort by a fantastic group of volunteers we are delighted to announce that our charity shop is now open.
We are aiming to staff it most days (excluding Sunday) between 10am and 2.30pm.
The shop is in the Airedale Centre, Keighley, opposite Costa.
Many thanks to everyone who has donated their time and used toys and gifts. Donations of toys and gifts as we run up to Christmas are still being taken. They can be dropped off at the shop or our centre. Thank you.

We have lots of collecting tins available at the centre.

Making a donation in memory of a loved one is a positive way of commemorating their life, whilst giving something back to a charity that has been close to their hearts. A gift left in your will can help us to continue our work with children and young adults with Down syndrome into the future. Your generosity could make a real difference to our children, young people, and their families, for years to come.

The amount can be large or small and can be a gift after your family and friends have been provided for. For example you could leave 99.9% of your estate to your family and friends and 0.1% as a gift to us and/or other charities of your choice.

Under present rules, a gift left to charity is free of Inheritance Tax.

Your event could be a sponsored event, a cake sale, a dress up day; anything that generates interest and you will enjoy doing.

Once you’ve decided what you want to do please contact us as you will need to complete a form detailing your event and we can then help you to promote it. We can also provide collecting boxes, labels for buckets and posters. If you need any help just get in touch.

Is it nearly your birthday?
Facebook gives people the opportunity to create fundraisers for their birthday. Last year we raised over £3000.
It’s really easy to do and 100% of the money raised comes to us.
Log into your own Facebook page and using the menu select fundraisers, choose our charity and set up your birthday fundraiser.

We now have our own charity page on eBay and are busy listing and selling items donated to us.
You can also choose to donate a percentage of your sales to our charity. Just search for Down Syndrome Training & Support Service and select the % amount you wish to donate.
